According to The Paper, from May 29th to 31st is the peak period of this round of high temperature weather. The temperature in some parts of Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Yunnan, Sichuan and other provinces in China exceeded 37℃. Among them, the highest temperature at a single station was recorded in Qiaojia County, Yunnan Province, reaching 43℃ on May 29th. As of May 31st, 578 national-level meteorological observation stations in the southern region have exceeded historical values for the same period, and 25 national-level meteorological observation stations have exceeded historical extreme values.
