On the recently ended 2023 SIAL Shanghai International Food Exhibition, which is the largest food exhibition in Asia, various food ingredients competed for attention in just three days. The exhibition attracted 4,500 exhibitors from 67 countries and regions around the world bringing more than 300,000 specialty food and beverage products, as well as 12 themed halls and 14 hot-spot special areas. This is the first time that the SIAL Shanghai International Food Exhibition has returned to a physical event since the outbreak of the pandemic. It should be noted that many international traders attended the event for the first time in more than three years, hoping to not only meet old friends but also to find certainty in the Chinese import market, as well as to experience the latest trends in the Chinese market first-hand.
