Samsung Electronics announced on Wednesday that non-factory, full-time employees will be allowed to take a day off on the Friday of their pay week starting next week. Samsung's rival, SK Hynix, adopted a similar flexible work arrangement last year, where employees can take a Friday off every month if they work more than 40 hours a week.
